This would be a dream. I agree it doesn't make sense as an end table, unless you have a Moroccan theme thing going and everyone sits on pillows. :P I can think of some pretty snazzy uses for it though. Perhaps as a base for an odd-sized lamp, or a nice pedestal for a plant, etc. It has potential, just not so much as a table I think....
