This is such a godsend - my own garden is growing gangbusters down here in Macon and my parents have been plying me with vegetables from their giant country garden too. I've literally had so much squash that we've been eating it three meals a day! It'll be nice to have something to do with it that doesn't involve having to turn on the stove or grill. Made this last night, minus the romaine. We roasted some asparagus and green onions instead. It was fabulous. Smart Tip: For an Easy & Elegant Meal, Make a One-Sheet-Pan Dinner Bon Appétit |

My son is weird about textural food - anything soft or smushy that he might equate to baby food (mashed potatoes, yellow squash, casserole vegetables) are a no-go. But instead of hiding the vegetables, I just changed how I cook them. We do a lot of roasting of vegetables these days and that seems to go over well. Are You a Vegetable Hider? |

I'll second Katlian on the "messy husband" bit. Our table is not particularly nice so we always have a tablecloth on there, but when it's just the fam at home, then we'll put placemats down on top. Then if people decide to pop over for dinner I can wisk off the placemats and have a nice clean tablecloth. Do You Use Placemats? Reader Survey |

Had it in my previous apartment and it was a nightmare. The kitchen always looked cluttered and dirty. If all of your dishes aren't completely matchy-matchy it looks like a dog's breakfast. Now that I've got children and lots of those brightly colored plates and cups I couldn't imagine it. How To Know if You're Ready for Open Kitchen Shelving |

First thing to do is make sure you buy the wing parts already in pieces, not the whole wings. Toss with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes on one side, flip on the other side with a pair of tongs until they're brown and crispy. After they're done in the oven then you can toss them in the sauce of your choice or a dry rub. Heart-Healthy Recipe for Buffalo Chicken Wings? Good Questions |

Total bust. Spent 3 days ahead of time preparing everything, 2 days cleaning house and decorating and my husband's family came, ate, and left in under an hour and a half. Never again. The Thanksgiving Report 2011: How Did It Go? |

The best present I got last year was a tablecloth coated in that teflon stuff - our friend's five year old spilled water all over it the first time we used it and the liquid just puddled up! It was awesome! Beautiful Tablecloths For Entertaining |

There's been a big to do around here in Middle Georgia because a lot of the pecan orchards have been foreclosed on and the trees, which are full of nuts, are sitting fallow in the fields, but the banks don't want people to come and get them.
