Traditions like this make me want to start a family. We don't have children yet, but I'm really looking forward to these kinds of activities! We would be doing 8 nights of Hanukkah and with blue and white, but the concept would be the same. My parents bought the house I grew up in in 1973. It had brown shag carpeting, a fuzzy orange sectional, yellow tapestry drapes, a linoleum kitchen floor with pine cabinets, a pink bathroom, a blue bathroom, and a tacky tiki jacuzzi setup in the backyard. Except for my room, which had hardwood floors (because of my allergies), white paint, & antique wood furniture to warm it up. Thank god for those allergies! I'm going through my mom's photos, which I have practically inherited. I culled the foggy, split the doubles, and now I'm scanning away. So far I have about 300 scanned, and about 500 to go.
