Oh! The first one! Check for tags! I used to do the books for a high-end interior decorator in Manhattan, and when we saw a leather chair on the curb, I stopped to check it out. Paul Smith! It was a $6,000 chair! It spent years in our living room before our new kitten kind of destroyed it. We gave it to Goodwill and they said they would recover it. Most expensive piece of furniture I have ever "owned"!

I've made dryer balls for my entire family, felted, while watching tv. The best part for me is that they attract any hair, dog's, cat's, mine, my long haired husband's - and don't have to pick them off the clothes. And not using dryer sheets or any further chemicals that annoy my sensitive skin. Oh, and also the cost of all that stuff! Not much, but we are almost retired so every penny helps. You can use them as cat toys, but they'll end up covered in hair that's not quite as clean as what comes out of the wash. And just try finding them after the cat stops playing with them!

Flash sites are my biggest downfall, because if the price is good, I know I have to 'act now!' or it will sell out. I have purged my bookmarks of those sites and plan to ignore them from now on. Books, though........ I don't know if I can control buying books!

That looks so great. My better half and I live in a small house, and while he uses the entire upstairs (sloping ceiling finished attic space) for his music and recording stuff, I have only our L shaped living space to work in. We bought those 18"x18" shelves, six high and across, at IKEA and he built a table that is attached to it and can be folded down so we can use the same space for our dining table. Of course, the craft table always has tons of stuff on it, because I am always working on several things at once, so I have yet to fold it down. It's also kind of hard to access the shelves under the table. Things I put there are kind of in 'dead' storage. But it all works, after a fashion, and he is really cool for designing and building the table.
When I started reading your post, I read you were a 'sewer' and I thought that was a bit harsh! Had to laugh when I realized I had misread the word, as my craft area collects all the flotsam and jetsam in the house because I can't bear to throw out something that might be useful.

I had a total moment of horror as I read this 'sign'. Food is NOT love!!! Anyone who has experience with anorexia, bulimia or dieting can tell you that it's not!
