It depends on which Walmart you go to. I'm in Orlando and that is a total negative at most locations. They built a new one a few yrs ago that does offer a better selection. We went down past Naples to go camping off shore - we stopped at the last place we could find - a Walmart - and most everything was organic. We got the best vegetables and fruit there - but it was in a remote area. I have never found the same selection here back in Orlando - whether it is Walmart, Super Walmart or the Neighborhood Center.

First make fried rice w cold rice - push it all to the side in a well oiled pan - crack the eggs on that side of the pan - let it sit and scald - then scramble it with the fork - it should be thin, lightly browned and shredded vs soft fluffy scramble

Supermarket brand "Marrakech Express" makes a canister of it - a co-worker brought it to work and added it to curry - so I know they make it and she said it's at Publix (south U.S.)

Don't be sorry I'm not sad about the film being made - I'm infuriated about the book that inspired the film to be made - glad you're talking about the food though : )

Might as well remove this post because everyone will ignorantly post about the nature of the film or the appearance of the cast vs the food in the film. Sad we had to make a film off of a controversial book and then highlight it in a food blog for people to judge. The "fiction" was stolen from real people and Black actors who chose to work with this screenplay did so because there aren't many other choices in Hollywood. And by the way, not every older and seasoned Black actress looks like Oprah!

I put lemons and/or limes in a small ceramic bowl in the fridge and according to when/how I use them that bowl is placed in the crisper or on the shelf and I've had amazing results - they keep well and sometimes I forget about them and I find them in good condition - but I think it all depends where you get your fruit? I don't buy pre-bagged anything and I prefer farmer's market or meat/product markets where items are much fresher and handled less

I buy bottled water. I buy gallon sized bottles of distilled and spring. I buy the 12 ounce bottles and fill a wine cooler up. I buy bottled tonic water. I recycle faithfully and that is that. I've seen plenty of people use filters, tap etc - and I'm sorry that doesn't seem like fresh water - the filters get yucky, your faucet is yucky - just buy bottled water in moderation and recycle or repurpose the bottles!
