I began cooking on a gas stove age 4 - basic things and beyond age 9 I cooked all meals for my mother and I - kids these days are just strange - I would think most children aren't interested in cooking anyways and others are just way too curious to use caution while cooking - my roommates 4 year old son was allowed to do things in the kitchen - use a mallet on sea salt, crack eggs, drop cookie dough, stir things but never chop or cook - he was always great but just lacked focus like I had at his age - he would've been burned or cut in the blink of an eye - early exposure is fine but carefully supervised - and things I did at age 4 shouldn't be suggested to modern day children until age 9 or 10 On Kids Cooking: How Old Were Your Kids When You Let Them Use the Stove? |

We allow the stock to cool - tepid and place in old Talenti sorbet/gelato containers - it repurposes the plastic over and over again - they are rather thin too so thawing is easier and a couple of them are the perfect amount for cooking soups, stews, risotto for four Help! It depends on which Walmart you go to. I'm in Orlando and that is a total negative at most locations. They built a new one a few yrs ago that does offer a better selection. We went down past Naples to go camping off shore - we stopped at the last place we could find - a Walmart - and most everything was organic. We got the best vegetables and fruit there - but it was in a remote area. I have never found the same selection here back in Orlando - whether it is Walmart, Super Walmart or the Neighborhood Center.
