My house also came with an odd peach/beige color a lot like yours in it. Something that works with the color scheme of the bedroom and the white/gray that are staying would be nice. Painting your cabinets white will brighten and update your kitchen a lot! If you're planning to keep the tile like you mentioned, I would go for a blue or gray on the walls. I also agree with the recommendation of changing the light fixture, even if you just opt for a more modern replacement shade on it. Updates for Country Kitchen on a Limited Budget?
