it's funny to me that on any other post, there would be 50+ comments complaining about your animal skin rugs, but because you happen to have a beautiful home, no one has mentioned it. i don't mind the rugs, i just think it's funny how people are so uppity in every other post except this.

anyway, i LOVEEEE your home. it reminds me of the coziest b&b i stayed in during a stay in philly. i just want to move in and live forever.
what are those branches in the living room? how are you keeping them green?

you could always make a loft and use it for storage instead of the actual bed.

i'd keep the curtains, too. i'd repaint. the room looks dark and depressing. you can also add more to the bed - like a contrast color/pattern throw, better pillow cases, fold the comforter down, etc. the curtains are fantastic and add character. just change the walls up and add some more accents - better nightstand, maybe in a color - something on the walls, etc.

i agree, that i love the buffet/bar with the mismatched wood. i want, want, want.

there is a lot to love in this place. you have a great collection of "things". i'm impressed. it doesn't look like clutter and an abundance of knick knacks, to me, it just looks fun. and you make the space look much, much bigger than it is. i really like your bedroom curtain layout, too.

i agree with the above that there are too many style that take away from the cohesion. but if it makes you happy, that's all that matters! the only thing i really don't care for is the dining table setup, such a GORGEOUS table with what are just awful chairs in my eyes. i can never get myself to like those chairs.

where is your brain tray from? i dig it! and what type of plant is that next to your couch?

i like it! just not the color, not my choice. but bravo. i think anyone who does some distressing on their own is impressive :)

i like the big art, the west elm curtains, and the new coffee table. it's a nice space! but i don't care for the lilac colors - i would have chosen something else but keeping pretty much everything else the same. good work!
