Thanks for the nice comments, i'm sure Shelley and Stephan will be very flattered.. :) re: cheaper alternatives to vintage posters... Just thought I would clarify that Galerie Montmartre's prices are actually extremely reasonable by international standards for collectable, original posters. You can buy cheaper reproductions on eBay, but they're not original posters, they're just digital prints, thus they are not collectable and will not go up in value over time. The laundry bags mentioned above are I think from the home-owners' own line of eco-conscious home cleaning/laundry products. Which is probably why they look perhaps a little 'staged'... If my home were on Apartment Therapy I, too, would give it a bit of styling spruce-up before taking the shots! Give these guys a break! Gorgeous home! Oh Hi Lucy again - sorry to perpetuate this thread, but just one further clarification - I didn't 'submit' these photos... AT visited my blog independently and asked me if I would share these shots with AT readers... I agreed and sent them copies of all the shots which had already been published on my own blog. Hi AT readers, Lucy here.... just confirming that of course the owners gave permission for me to photograph and publish these images on the net! They were overseas at the time and AT asked that I answer the usual house tour questions as the owners were not able to do so! I answered them to the best of my knowledge... The owners of the apartment are very close friends, and although I did personally not make the design decisions in this home, you will notice in the text that my partner Gordon Johnson designed much of the furniture in the apartment, and has had a hand to play in many of the design decisions.
