Absolute charm! I love all of the different styles mixed together--there patterns and surfaces I would never think to put together, but each piece compliments the other. This is another dream house to add to my list :) BTW, is it just me, or is the bedding meant to mimic an owl? I thought that was the coolest thing!

I made my own, make sure you have enough time to do it though- I was rushed with packing and everything else under the sun when making them and gave the new street number with the old street name. I'm "special." lol

That's totally confusing! The only thing I could think of was that the floor lamp holds the bulb and maybe they couldn't find a shade that would fit on it, so they hung it??? That hurt my head, too lol

Good ideas! I have a fake tree that's probably all of 4ft tall, we have it standing on an endtable, the endtable has a cloth covering and finally figured out how to get our stockings up hanging from the edge of the table :) They're not full size stockings though, all of them belong to our pets lol... we still don't have any for ourselves heh

Freaking beautiful. My living room has the same idea, same with our little catch-all area... black furniture, darker orange accents, dark gray curtains, with white and light gray patterned sheers along with them. It's nice being able to change out the slipcover options with our sofa- we originally bought the sofa in deep orange and when we found the charcoal one, we had to grab it :)

My couch is kind of that burnt orange, it's modern and it fits it well, but we do switch out the cover with a charcoal gray for the winter :) But we do have accents of the same orange, or close to it around the room, with the clock, the exit sign, and my favorite, V for Vendetta poster all framed up, it makes my husband and I very happy. I was sad when he got rid of his drum kit, here's a shot of what model he had:

That is a gorgeous place... and the pictures definitely do NOT do it justice! The view is incredible, the library/smoking/living room was one I desperately wanted a shot of, but of course, they allowed no photography when I had gone years ago :( It's beautiful for what it is, but I would never live there.
