I'm a week behind due to an extended vacation so I'm just getting to Day 8's kitchen scouring and meal. Yesterday I cleaned my kitchen from top to bottom and discovered that the shelves in my fridge are much easier to clean when you take them out of the fridge and disassemble them. Who knew?!

Also, I had a first yesterday. I cooked my very first whole chicken! I followed Kitchn's recipe for Viking Chicken (http://www.thekitchn.com/viking-chicken-182165) and enjoyed it immensely.
