Such a lovely apartment. I must agree with a lot of the other readers that I wouldn't be giving up such a large space in NY. I see plenty of room for a teeny tiny baby! My current apartment in San Francisco is also 1000sf and I'm pregnant with my third child. It's going to be a little squishy with 3 kids but for the first year the baby will share with my husband and I so it's not really going to make a huge difference to how we use our space. That said, we have two bedrooms rather than just one, and they have doors that close. That makes a big difference.

I loved my soda stream machine and used it everyday - until we moved from Australia to USA and discovered that the gas canisters have different sized thread in different countries. It was a very sad when I had to throw out my suddenly useless machine :( This one would be a great replacement - and so much more stylish that my old one!

I love this idea. It would be a great solution to my problem of where to fit a Christmas tree in my apartment. Not sure I could get my 5 and 2 year old daughters on board though! They are super excited about picking out a Christmas tree so I think they'd be a *little* upset if I came home with a 2 dimensional fabric tree!

The colour of this chair is AMAZING! It would go so nicely in my apartment. Fingers crossed :)

This is a really cute idea. I'm sure my kids (5 and 2 year old girls) would love to help make something like this.I've always liked marbling but this is a much simpler (and more kid friendly!) way to get pretty much the same result.
I've been collecting and pressing beautiful leaves as I find them with the intention of using them on the table for Thanksgiving but as the previous person commented they may end up crumbled through the food! Marbled paper leaves just may be the way to go :)
Thanks for the idea!
