I think two full sized beds would look like a motel room. Go for two quirky twins or one very serene king. Unless you really feel the need for privacy, don't bother with curtains and dividers (geez! If that was the case, I don't think the would be the arrangement...) have fun! Enjoy your new place.m

AT, can you please stop posting pictures of nurseries with garlands over the cribs? This site has normalized such an obvious and avoidable stragelation hazard. Seriously, I'm just waiting for AAP to issue a statement (or re-issue one, as I bet this was first cautioned against in, like, 1908...) It's not stylish; it's dangerous and it's in soooo many of the nurseries you feature.

The room is lovely. Congrats. Etc. but really, COME ON.

Bumper-less bedding and organic mattresses are great, but if you want your kid to live to enjoy their birch wood teething toy and soy based crayons employ a little common sense when it comes garlands and don't let pintrest and sites like this cloud your better judgement.

This isnt an attack on this lovely little room or the parents. It's a PSA. AT, I'm blaming YOU.

Plain Linen! Something neutral, but lovely. And get feathers in the seat. Kooky fabrics only look good in editorials or somebody else's house. You'd get sick of something bold. I know I would.

Make breakfast a sit down affair each day. It becomes like a family meeting where you can discuss the plans for the day. And it lets whoever is sleeping on the couch know that it's time to get up and restore order to the living room.

The biggest tip I got when we were selling our house was to have an empty hamper handy. If I needed to do a quick clean up, I just tossed everything into the hamper and stashed it in my car.
For storing your kids books and other stuff, under the bed is a great place. Don't junk up your closets. And unless its lots of big stuff, don't bother with a storage unit.
Once I got over the stress of selling my house, I actually enjoyed it. Everything was so tidy. Beds always made, counters always clear, nothing out and about that shouldn't be. I felt like I was living in a hotel--a hotel where I was the maid, but still...

Who are these people who "don't drink soda"? I LOVE seltzer. And can imagine making some awesome homemade ginger beers and root beers with this thing. A homemade root beer float sound crazy indulgent and wildly delicious.

Love the wood grain design! My little woodland fairy freak would love to eat off these--and that might even mean she'll eat without me having to nag her.

The best gift: an afternoon off! Take your team to lunch and then let them go home. Or give them a coffee or hot chocolate on their way out the door.
