i hate dishwashers. In my experience they leave the stuff funky smelling and a little dirty so I prefer to hand wash. Here's a five million dollar tip to everyone who wants to know how to get away with not having a dishwasher: Don't own so many freaking dishes TA DA!

i was a professional cook for many years. Seasoning/salting is one of the hardest things to learn because the notion is so ambiguous. being good at seasoning is analagous to having good style. part learned. part innate. some people are lucky, they have a good eye for clothing, design, etc. they literally have good taste.

the good news is these things can be learned as well.

This would make for an awesome bar set up. As for paint color you need to lay context for us.

i LOVE this..so versatile. I totally want to fill it with modern mini replica furniture and host tea parties and doll dress ups.

I would go with a white or black saarinen...I think burke or chromecraft made a smoky black tulip table that I see pretty cheap on clist sometimes...or maybe go industrial with a tolix table in white with some distressing

sounds rough. maybe put different legs and make a frankenchair? use as a side table as someone suggested? I would hate to be an owner of a beautiful but unusable chair.

one thing I am over is stainless steel, especially home version stainless steel, kinda flaccid in my opinion...on the other h and, true industrial appliances are hot!

i agree that the oven location is a bit awkward. I would only do this if the counter was wide enough so guests could sit on the opposite side and really hang out and watch tapenyaki style!
