i hate dishwashers. In my experience they leave the stuff funky smelling and a little dirty so I prefer to hand wash. i was a professional cook for many years. Seasoning/salting is one of the hardest things to learn because the notion is so ambiguous. being good at seasoning is analagous to having good style. part learned. part innate. some people are lucky, they have a good eye for clothing, design, etc. they literally have good taste. i totally dig the before. galley kitchens are just sad...they're lonely one man only utilitarian spaces. the before is more social and has character and feels more open. of course, change the finishes, but the layout works for me. Before & After: Little Kitchen, Big Style The Sweeten |
