I agree about cleaning the whole apartment, preferrably before you move all of your things into it. I also agree that it's exhausting, so I like to hire a cleaning person to come in and do the job for a few hours. Even if I can't afford to have a cleaning person regularly, I think it's completely worth the splurge to give a new home a good scrub. Your New Rental: 5 Spots To Clean Well |

I live in a studio with limited space for linens and one of the best organizing tips I read and still use is for bed sheets: fold all pieces but one pillowcase of a set and put them inside the left out pillowcase.
