Funny how you can really feel the vibe of this aparment and wen you see the owner and the dog this whole place makes sense.

This place is veRy welcoming and would make anyone feel comfortable right away.

Nice home, I loved to see different types of antiques spread out thru the house; especially that little kid's red car and the little green dress. However, i am sick of grey and white on the walls.
To make the spot from "good to great" i suggest brighter colors on the walls. I just moved to London and it is true that this city is very rainy and mostly grey, why bring it to your home when you can make it your own?

Add some colours like a touch of soft yellow or fushia, why not?
Do take risks!

As an interior designer myself, i always love when my clients are fashionistas or at least a bit interested into fashion, colors, patterns. it means that they quite know what they want and they have an ee for beauty. To me, RL was too blah.

I was never a fan of Ralph Lauren because i thought that the company's style was too old fashion, too confortable and traditional. Moving and evolving with their time (finally); it took a long time for them to finally adjust to trends and learn to take risks by mixing busy patterns and and heavy fabrics.

Ralph Lauren is no longer your daddy's old beat up jumper; RL is back to the front of the scene. hats down for the come back!

I often say to my boyfriend that making the bed every morning is like starting your day with order. Everyone knows that clutter and mess causes stress.
Good habits of making the bed takes 3 minutes; its like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast.

My favorite part:

when its time to go to sleep; i cannot wait to jump on the bed and get comfy in it.

I really love the mixture of black and white with a lot of different patterns, you see the polka dots and the zig zag makes the table quite casual but the gold accents and the flowers bring up the whole decor to an elegant and sophisticated thing.

I love it.

PLEASE FORGIVE MY HONESTY:

The Chair was old and ugly and now it is new and still not too appealing.
Putting a colorful toy doesnt take away from the poor design of the chair, it is not a fun high chair, thats the least i can say.
Why spray painting it? I would be worried for the health of the child.
I like the idea of using Vinyl for baby chairs but this is not the right one.
Also, she should've kept the foot rest, its a fun element that is part of the chair; the designer shouldve played it with instead of removing it.

Stephanie Rosso did a great job with this apartment;
Muted colors yet sophisticated, modern, perfect for a man however with a touch of feminity.
the colors of the master are just stunning and inviting me to rest on the bed.

I do see myself living in there.

Rob's Masculine Modern Condo House Tour

I did a master bedroom with the benjamin moore Charcoal color for one of my clients.
When I picked the color they were unsure because they thought it would be too cold and to modern for this retired couple. Its been 3 years now and they love it.
I highly recommend to mix dark color with white or cream and the brighter your room is the darker you can add.
However, if not careful ark grey can be boring and overwhelming, so do not forget to add little accents of colors here and there.
For my lovely couple i added red velvet pillows some solid and some with different patterns; i also added gold table lamps with motifs on the shades and the final touch: a bright pink and purple multi-colored bouquet of roses and peonies carefully placed on top of the side table sealed the deal!

Dear Kimmy and Nathan,

A few years ago; I used to live downtown LA as well and i always love everyone lives in a loft full of space and full of light.
Unfortunately; Everyone downtown used to have the same style, same furniture, deco, colors; yours is just exquisite, eye catching. I love how the walls are whites but still inviting because of the artwork you have. I love how the floor is "Naked".
You went for a style that is clean and simple, yet i can see the edgy personality of the owners of the space! I love it.
Leaving there must be a paradise for artists, the place just inspire you to be creative.

good job darlings.
