Amazing Rummer! And I love this family's aesthetic which is similar to ours. I don't think it feels cold at all. And regarding the babyproofing and concrete floors, I grew up in a house with concrete floors and I've never had a broken bone, or cracked my skull for that matter. I'm also a mom to a very active 16 month old boy, and while we do have some baby proofing (mostly with the outlets), he is doing just fine with our choice of furniture, which are similar to the ones on this tour. We chose white for our 8-month old baby boy's nursery and kept the decor modern with white/birch furniture. We added color with a combination of new and vintage artwork. We also didn't go with a specific color theme. It's modern, colorful without being overwhelming, and perfect for a girl or boy. White: A Daring Choice for Nursery Walls? |

We started out doing a photo a day, but I got distracted. Ha! I saw a home decorating show once and they custom built cabinets for this guy with a massive vinyl collection so they could be front facing... oh to dream. So yeah, unless you have good carpentry skills, spine out it would have to be. And since we collect mostly 45's, we still haven't figured out how to nicely store them front-facing without using gray, felt record cases. I would have to agree with Loora. No drop offs and don't force anything! We know someone that keeps doing this and it seems that she can't take a polite no for an answer. So now we have items that we don't need in the garage that we eventually will have to donate to Goodwill or a family shelter. What Should You Hand Down To Other Parents? |

Actually, the Hepper bed is very popular among cat owners. And I've seen pics of cats on Flickr that love their Hepper bed.
