I agree with K T G. It seems that houses with similar color schemes or similar thought processes, like black and white with pops of bright color or muted earth tones, were grouped together in the first round. In general, weak ones were paired with weak ones and then two strong ones were paired together. These two were an example, as were Christine's Colorful Cottage and the Modern Danish Clown Colors. I think strong and weak should have been paired together. It would make voting in the subsequent rounds more interesting.

Yes, mviamontes, neutral can make a statement, but this one falls short. The only accents are a red/orange couch and yellow tulips.

The colors make me confused. I like the use of black and white with saturated colors. But I am not sure I like the color combos. Springy greens and blues in one room, dark gray in the next, with a cheery yellow and then a purplish color that looks dead on the walls. It seems like a great concept that was not quite executed right.

I agree that the colors are bright and cheerful, but they don't seem to come from the same color palette. It makes the color scheme somewhat discordant.

I like the modern art theme, but the color scheme isn't there. You have primary colors (red and blue) on one side then a the 70's disco wall on the other. I like the art accents, but there is no coherence in the color selection.

While I think the colors are relaxing, I would have like to see color on your furniture. Not my favorite, but very nice.

I agree with ashbadger. While I love the wall of children's art, it's not my favorite house. A lot of art on the walls, but it doesn't all tie together. It looks a bit chaotic.

Again, too much white. You have many architectural features and book cases that could have been used to bring in more color. The colors don't have to jump off the walls, but could tie into the other colors more.

There is only one shot of the pink wall, so it's hard to see how that ties into the color scheme of blues and greens from the gardens.

I like the color selections (orange and green), but overall it seems unfinished. The major use of color is two walls painted with some throw pillows and lamp shades. Perhaps more color on the wall is needed or better placement of accent pieces. Not sure.
