I like the idea of storing off season clothing. If it was in the laundry room and I couldn't get it out I would paint it, prop open the top with some fancy wood or metal hardware (the durble heavy duty kind that hold up large bookshelves), and somehow drill some "floating shelves" on the inside of the cover. In the inside make three separate wooden or wicker laundry baskets with removable cloth bags inside for easy transport.

Or I like the idea of a bar as well. Who knows.. Good luck. Let us know what you decide to do!

I have these and use them all the time. I do miss the 1/3 but i usually use these for prep. Thanks for the information on the material. I will continue to use my bowls as long as they continue to serve their purpose.

I don't like that red with any of those woods. I would never do this to my home.

leave the brick! It is beautiful! paint the wood with a white wash... so it looks like wood. just white wood :) Your art and furniture would stand out beautifully.

This is only for a certain type of yard I am sure... if you have perfectly mowed grass and a few sporatic trees in town I am guessing it would look a little out of place...

but hidden back in the trees... I think this would be a nice place to put all my smoking friends during a winter party in MN.. They wouldn't have to stand in my garage or directly in the cold.

I think it's hot for a personal bedroom. I do this with my necklaces and love it.

I think the beautiful wood gets lost in that red... maybe a very warm golden yellow. when the sun comes it it will fill the room with warmth... It would also make your wood look rich and earthy... I wish I had a room like this... Maybe something like mango gold... yummy

I want this... I have very few books and they look lonely on a tiny shelf... this would work perfect for me...
