I completely agree that the first three are unsuccessful as baby mobiles. I have been creating baby mobiles for the past year and a half that are oriented specifically to be viewed from the infants point of view. I disagree that mobiles are for soothing your child. I believe that mobiles, kinetic sculptures, should stimulate the baby's senses...their eyes, hands, and feet.
