Bettina Deda colour design's Profile

We had our whole house (in Sydney) painted in Antique White because our painter suggested it as one of the favourite whites from Dulux. This was five years ago and I had not studied colour design at that time and we had to renovate in four months because we needed to move in the house. Now five years later - after graduating from design school with a colour design diploma - I hate my antique white walls. This colour only looks good in rooms with lots of sunlight or warm artificial light when it creates a warm atmosphere. As soon as you apply it to southern facing rooms (no sunlight in the southern hemisphere), antique white looks dirty and grey. Grrrrh! Well, I guess this was a learning curve and I know better now. So, I can very much relate to your personal crusade against antique white.
