Although I don't have any recommendations about a sofa to get I would very much so suggest that you DO NOT get the Lillberg sofa from IKEA. I purchased both the 2-seater and 3-seater a few years ago when I was back in college and on a budget. Let me tell you that this was the most uncomfortable couch I had ever sat on. It got to a point where nobody would use the living room it would be that bad. So although it looks nice - it's not worth the money :-)
