I think art is any constructed piece that elicits a feeling or excites on some level. It doesn't have to be made from scratch (i.e. these altered pieces). These do qualify as art.

That doesn't mean the creators should be praised or named alongside famous practitioners, but that wasn't the point of this post.

@SnowdogMaine. To drag an image, click the image with your cursor but hold the mouse button down, then drag the cursor while still holding the button, drag it over the Google Images search field. When the dragged image is over the search field, a pop-up should appear that says Drop Image Here. Release the mouse button and the image will be inserted in the search field.

Word to the wise: check the mirror out in person before you commit. I know a lot of people who bought awesome-looking mirrors online but the reflection turned out to be warped.

Kitschy crap? Pshhh! If your style is more conservative, browse elsewhere. I think these are really cute, personally. Making me fall in love with honey bear bottles all over again.

I agree that the living room/dining room was a little bland before, but somehow in a soothing way. The dining room remodel is way dark and sucks up the natural light. Agree that the wood paneling looks like a blah resort resto.

Less is more, maybe? Because I do like the blue walls behind the couch, and the wall opposite the kitchen bar needed some color. Accents vs. Overhaul. Just 20% of the remodel would have gone a long way.

I reeeally like the display case/buffet that separates the eating area from the living room. Is that a single piece, or is it a display case stacked atop something?
