Omg, everything about this room is perfect! Absolutely no color is needed.

I'm always looking for creative ways to hang pieces of clothing on the wall. I will now be trying out the 'tape and a hanger' look that you have done in the above photo.

(Btw, love that shirt!)

I agree with all of the above comments. I would've loved to see the before and after, as well as the taped v. hand painted results.

My husband and I are fans of taping. There is no shame in wanting a difficult project to be a little quicker or easier. While some bleeding may occur, taking a small brush and going over the edges once the tape is off will fix the problem beautifully!

Here are some of our results:

I love this post! Even with all of the debates over food and mice, storage-wise I find it very inspirational.

We have blogged about our love for sliding doors in the past. I love the idea of using one, or two, to cover up a pantry!

We've also tried to beautifully organize storage space in our kitchen, although we focused more on dinnerware than food. At the very least, AT (and Sarah and Tyler's house tour) has very much been "candy" to our little diy eyes ...

This is, without a doubt, my favorite house tour on AT. So beautiful, simple, organic, and free. Your kitchen has definitely been an inspiration to my husband and I in our own little bungalow from the 1920s! Thanks!

We recently bought a 100-year-old bungalow. Whenever we opened our bathroom door, it would hit the sink behind it. Instead of switching the door to open the other way, reworking the frame, and to save as much space as possible in our bathroom, we installed a barn door on the big, spacious wall just outside our bathroom. Once you have the equipment, it is a very easy install that only took us about 30 minutes. If this rustic look appeals to you, I really suggest going for it!

We just rescued an old, white picket gate from our neighbour and I haven't quite figured out what to do with it yet. This has inspired me to hang it on the wall of our closet that we are building out of reclaimed materials. Thank you.
