Pretzel Rolls are great! However, the "real thing" has to be made with lye!
And in Germany, you wouldn't eat them with a meal, burger or to mop up sauce. They are eaten with butter or cheese or cold cuts, sandwich style, and that's it. (At least traditionally) But come to think of it, a Laugen-Burger sounds kind of intrigueing...

@ tcleaves

Maybe you should have read Martijn's comment more thoroughly. He states that he is from the Netherlands, and in Dutch (and German, my language) Natrium is the name of the chemical element that is called sodium in English. Since he is not a native English speaker, he should be forgiven to use the dutch word for the element he is referring to, don't you think?

There really is no need to attack people who come to this site looking for help! Nowhere, neither in the original question nor in the comment is he "spreading ignorance as truth", he is only asking how to cook without salt and never trying to persuade other people to do so. (All he does is ask a question, how can he be "spreading misinfo" by doing this???)
So why do you get so angry about it?

I am very confused by this: being European and not used to the whole cup-measuring thing, I always assumed that a cup is a cup and is the same for liquids and solids like flour and sugar?! Do you really have to have different sets?
So far I have measured everything, liquids and solids alike, in just one cup (clear plastic) that has markings for 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 cup and so on and most of my baking has turned out alright!
Could somebody please explain how a liquid measuring cup differs from a solid one? Thanx!

Halfway through with cleaning out the kitchen cabinets, phew! I still have to do all the surfaces and the drawer under the oven (has not been cleaned since we moved in...), but I'm confident to finish by the end of the weekend. Plus I decieded to do the pantry separately from the kitchen, which might make reorganizing it more relaxed.
