I took advantage of a move to organize the pantry - I actually sat down one day sometime before we moved and made a list of dry goods I wanted to store, and then went out and bought enough ball jars to store all of them. I felt like sort of a crazy person when I did it, but now I REALLY appreciate the organization. My current kitchen is a thousand times more functional than my last kitchen! We've had our kivik for a few years now and absolutely love it. It's a perfect nap sofa [as my husband can attest - he's napping on it next to me right now!], and the flat arms are perfect for using as a mini desk for your computer [since I'm one of those people who hates using a desk]. The cushions do shift a little by the end of the day, especially since our kivik gets so much use, but it takes just a sec to re-fluff them up and then they're good to go!
