I would try it out, if I wasn't married. That is not a place for two people... at all. lol I think the shower head on the wall by the toilet would get to me. I saw pictures of it. There are no actual shower walls. You just stand by the toilet and turn the shower on. I would be obsessively disinfecting the floor before every shower! I'm not really a design expert myself, but I think painting them a bright color from your throw pillow is a great idea! I have two little end tables in my apartment that are very different but painted the same color and I love it! I'm kind of in the middle here. I love this room. I love the eclectic feel and all the colors. It seems cozy and someplace that I would feel comfortable and at home. However, I don't really think this is the contest for you. I don't feel like the charm of this room is in the "color pallette" so much as it is in the obvious love you have for everything in this room and the thought you clearly put into how it would all fit together. You say that the color palette works well for your home because it is small. Maybe "small but cool" would be a better contest for you.
