I love this tactic as a way to conceal (or put less attention) on the TV. I used it in my place (http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/trevors-floor-to-ceiling-windows-small-cool-contest-188989)

We do our own laundry. I wouldn't trust myself with any of his and like doing my own. That said, we share folding sometimes. ;)

We purchased ours from Blik (http://www.whatisblik.com) to create a faux headboard behind our bed. It worked really well. Some tense moments trying to line up the pattern, but I think you get that with the real deal. We haven't had any bubbling or peeling. Really happy with the result!

Ha! Now that would be awesome. But no. The bar is in my main living space.

Hi dimitrithecat - email me at trevor@tbcommunications.ca and ill send you more bathroom pics. I haven't had any issues with the floor tile but I also don't have any pets.

Ha! Yes. The exterior of the building is so interesting, but sets up some difficult angles, for sure. My biggest challenge will be the best way to install hardwood, when I've saved enough money.

You got it, suzy8track! It's their stripped shower curtain. So simple. So beautiful.

The shower curtain is from West Elm (http://www.westelm.com/products/stripe-shower-curtain-dusty-navy-b984/?pkey=cshower-curtains&cm_src=shower-curtains||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_--_-). I think that they've discontinued that colour, but they still carry it in navy, yellow and grey. I'm actually rocking the yellow one now for a little spring colour.

Thanks, stationeryfiend! I contemplated putting up drapes from time to time, but just couldn't cover up the window frames, which I think provide a great architectural detail to the space.

It's a custom piece from my good friend David. He's super talented, but only does work for friends. He did the mirror / floating shelf too. I adore it. My favourite piece in the entire house.

Mine is from Parliament Interiors (www.parliamentinteriors.com) in the Gastown area of Vancouver. Call and speak to Craig or Colette – they're good friends of mine. I don't think that they carry it in store but can still order it.

Honestly, Susan – it was the best decision I've made. The original kitchen had a full-sized fridge and it was a colossal waste of space. I found mine online on a scratch and dent deal. For its size, it fits a lot of food.

Hmmm. I'll have to go look at the paint can. It's a Benjamin Moore colour, but I painted it so long ago!

Thanks all! My condo is at the Electra, if you know it. I fell in love with the unit the moment I walked through the door back in 2009.

If you want to stay modern, try something like this pendant:

West Elm has a beautiful fixture that would coordinate well, especially with your wooden chairs and the area rug. We have this over our dining room table. It casts a beautiful light. We get so many compliments on it:

I also used this one from West Elm over my old circular table (very similar to yours). It reminded me of a Serge Mouille ($$$$ – http://www.sergemouilleusa.com) fixture. You can articulate the lights in whatever way you want.

It would have to be Stephen King's "IT". We (ahem) "rented" it last night, but it just didn't have the same punch that I remember. Tonight we're trying People Under the Stairs.

cb2 has a great option that might work. We bought one for our den space that's about the same size. It's called Lubi and is very versatile. May not leave you with room for a dresser, but it hasn't been an issue for us. It's easy to fold down and is quite comfortable as a single bed. My mum is coming out to Vancouver from Toronto tomorrow and will be sleeping on it. This is her third visit and she loves the bed!
