i'd probably go with some cellular blinds (maybe top up/bottom down?) because they offer you the versatility of being able to filter the light/gain privacy when you want to as well as preserving your view should you want to. The only problem with a frosted or translucent film is that you won't have the view option. Also, your windows, if newer, may already have a UV filter; if not, solar film is a nice investment though if you can afford it. Good Questions: Light filtering options for loft windows |

try contacting one of the custom sofa places that have been recommended on here before (gingko, bayareasofas.com, etc). many of them will make custom replacement cushions as well. Good Questions: Custom Cushions for this Sofa? |

i can't speak to Gingko unfortunately but I can speak to bayareasofas.com (lousy website) which also does custom couches. we've had ours now for 5 months (room and board looking number in ultrasuede) and get tons of compliments on it. most importantly, it's very well made, completely customized down to the feet and very comfortable.
