I painted a stool exactly this color! So if you have butcher block counter top, you can paint it.

How are you inviting someone over? Like girlfriend? if it's $60/month, yes, I'll go for it, for money's sake.

Nobody has mentioned Boston? It's where i am, and I love it. It's a walkable city, rich history, plenty events, young crowds, all good stuff within a few strides walking or biking. Winter is way tooo long, but that makes the spring, summer and fall particularly beautiful. In city you get the Charles river that you can kayak in summer time; out a bit you get the ocean, beaches, cruises. One criteria for me, is the place has to have to be close to a water, and Boston fits that bill very well.

smart idea.. but why hiding it? I suppose I can unplug the projector and put it in a cabinet or sth if I really want to keep it out of sight.

What's the point of hiding them? Shouldn't movie theater be a show case, or at least an integral part of the room?

It looks very cool. But still, why no body is into projectors? It doesn't take over wall space at all, and so much better for watching movies.

I, for one, do not own or like a smart phone. I don't panic when I don't have internet or a 4G.. when this happens, I take a walk, go see a random movie, eat a meal, read a book, listen to my music, clean gardens, hit gym... and so on.

apartmentzombie -- don't like that picture, either. It's one thing they are curious of things; it's another if they scream for it like missing a drug.

Totally agree. More play time either outside or with parents...

Guilt as charged my 4-yr-old still loves TV time and Angry Bird. That's the only time I could relax and do my own thing at home. But I got rid of tablet entirely (not that bad), and only some TV weekend morning, so to get some sleep when he is up at 6.
