I love the fridge, but apart from that I'm underwhelmed.

I have a question: How high are the ceilings in the basement?
It's unbelievably cool! Thanks for sharing!

I just love the bedspreads that the Brady girls had in their bedroom. I think they were a prettty shade of mauvey-pink, with gently scalloped edges, and they folded back and made a sort of pocket to put your pillow in. I wish I could find something like that now!

I'm cuckoo for that blue couch! Thanks for sharing!

You were dealt a real challenge with that thermostat bang in the middle of the wall, but you coped admirably!

It can get sorta same-old around here...to the point where if I see certain silhouettes and colour schemes at the outset of a tour, I don't even bother to click through. I probably like it, but I've seen it all too many times.
I love the chance to see unique furniture and art in someone's home, however, and this looks terrific to me. I hope we get the full tour down the road!

I feel like I need to thank Eli and Jen for showing such an old beauty so much respect, I'm that delighted!

I have a question: once exposed brick has been painted, can it ever be brought back to its original state again?

The seascapes are gorgeous. I wish paintings of the sea would replace animal heads in popularity.

I would never have thought of dividing up your main room the way you did--particularly the placement of the sofa and chair--but it's brilliant!

This doesn't work for me. I want to offer my criticism in a constructive way, but it just sounds silly, like: "I think the image needs a smaller canvas."

On your living room: I would never have predicted that I would love red and green together so much. Nicely done!

I think if I ever had a place this tiny again (and I hope one day I do!) I would opt for a bar fridge.
Looking at your plan, one might fit where you currently have your trunk. I know they're little, but my relatives in England all manage OK with them. And on the plus side, your energy bills would be reduced.
Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

It's so pretty...I love the way the bed and settee are angled. Is there a kitchenette in this studio? I find them so awkward. I would love to see how Ida would treat one.
