i bought a nest 1 when they first came out; my friend and handyman called the company with questions on installation and was talked through the entire installation by a fabulous tech. i love the nest and love the fact that i can control it from my ipad. when a cold blooded family member turns it up i can easily turn it down...also grandchild was stunned to see the nest on the wall and we got lots of tech-early-adapter points from him... what a great suggestion! i was a crime scene photog many years ago and we'd get to remote areas with lots of xtra batteries but were always reminded (by lab director) to scrub those contacts in camera and strobe to ensure proper connection. this sounds like a good idea both because it cleans the 'joins' and we reseat the connectors. what about all those cables? when i buy replace something and i end up with lots of cables for the computer/printer/television/speakers, etc., i'm afraid to get rid of them. do you have any guidelines? Keep or Toss: Questions & Tips to Help You Declutter |
