I don't find the Poang too comfortable. There are worse chairs, but the head cushion doesn't feel right. I'm 5' 2" so while that may have something to do with it, I know other short people who think it's fine. As someone else wrote above, I'm not sure if it's the best chair for one's posture but that could be fixed with a cushion for the small of your back.

I too argue the no electronics rule. I use the iPhone and soak up excess brain energy by playing Spider Solitaire on it, or scrolling through the Animals section on Pininterest. Lots of cute puppies and baby animals.

I once went away in the middle of summer and returned to find the power had cut and my fridge stank of rotting meat - 2 weeks in HOT summer.

I did vinegar, bicarb ....the lot.

The only thing that finally worked was to put charcoal in a dish and then run the fridge. After about an hour, the smell was COMPLETELY gone.

Although I had already wiped every wipeable surface about 5 times with vinegar AND bicarb, separately (you can't do them together because they react, fizz and you are not left with any active agent).

This is counter to everyone else's but Sudoku or Spider Solitaire on my iPhone seem to grab the excess brain energy so that I can relax and fall asleep. Either that or scrolling through the Animals section on Pininterest - again on the iPhone because it's handy.

But I always put it on Airplane mode before sleeping and push it down to below my knees on the bed (bedside table full of homeopathics).
