We installed the Tupplur shades in our bedroom last weekend—they work beautifully. Our windows are older and uneven so we couldn't inset the blinds, ours roll down over the entire window frame with the shade extending out an inch or so over the molding on each side. We get a little light intrusion on the sides which is mitigated by our curtains that extend beyond the shades. No light gets through the body of the shade, nor the top or bottom. We've tried a few other black-out curtains/shades in other places we've lived and the Tupplur's are definitely the best so far. No harder to install than other blinds, the spring mechanism is working well so far, they look great, plus the price is ridiculously good.

Love it all. The tile is a huge improvement, looks great behind the stove. Great above sink treatment with the open shelves and giant clock. And the "stone" color walls are so much fresher seeming than the yellow before. Well done.

The worst things for me have been crime, noise, and flooding. I lived in a ground floor apartment in Chicago and had two break-in attempts. My ground floor apartment in Savannah was completely flooded once, whereas anyone living parlor level or above was spared. Constant problems are noise from upstairs neighbors, and the inability to have curtains or windows open. I've lived in a lot of different housing situations and, if renting, I much prefer top floor apartments.

Great poster!! For the triangles, I strongly prefer Gray (Black as a second choice).

I always fly with my dog. I mean always, even for business. I guess that could be considered a little crazy. No trouble with TSA, it actually seems easier to travel with the dog than without (since traveling with him, I haven't been singled out for the extra scrutiny security search). He travels really well and sleeps during flights in his under-the-seat travel case—other passengers typically don't know he's on the flight.

Presentation is so important. This business looks not only stylish and cool, but professional and clean--like they take their work and clients seriously. I like the different personal touches at each station. If I were to ever get a tattoo, this is the type of place I would choose.

Of the many weddings I've attended over the years, I still remember the two couples that did not send us thank you notes for their (very expensive) gifts. It is noticed and you will be thought less of. Unfortunately, there are no excuses. If you realize years later that you never sent the note, go ahead and send it now with apologies for the delay--it would be cute and thoughtful and appreciated.

The new cushions look a lot better (offer the original cushion as part of the deal if you're OK with parting with it).

Just perfect--a full house tour is in order. Great job with all of the window treatments, and wall paint selections. Plus the styling in the bedroom is cute with the ties on the chair back, Ikea throw under the Chucks, & hat boxes.

I've been working on this very project all day today--converting a rarely used guest bedroom into a hybrid guest room/office. It's definitely a trick getting it stylish + functional. For me the priority is the office part, but I still want it to be comfortable for the occasional overnight guest. Thanks for the inspiration!

Our house is the same size (and we have a little white dog!) so I love seeing what you've done with the same amount of space. This has a refreshingly mature sense of style, love the patterns and rich, full feel of the place. Plus Pappy is TOO cute.

Not as simple as just mounting the Airport to a wall; you still need to deal with the cords and have a power source. Looks like David drilled a hole through the wall to connect to a power source inside the closet.

I like the natural wood / white paint combo. Clever way to paint the stairs but not have to deal with the inevitable scuffed and dirty paint in the high-traffic center.
