this tour was more charming than impressive or inspirational. the paper towel "plate" and carefully placed remote controls i think just reinforces the title of the post- this is a straight guy who finally started to care about his surroundings. its a step in the right direction, but not yet "inspired" design.

i liked the bedroom the best. i liked the peach wall and it goes well with black. i also liked al the artwork displayed. what i didnt like was all the clutter. perhaps that's why the bedroom looked better, it was a bit more edited with the tchotchkes... too many "vignettes" and groupings looked a bit like flea market.

this is a fantastic home. the best i have seen in a long time- i love the mix of textiles, color & no color...very refined bohemian indeed! i like the look of the couch, but always thought they are not very comfy or conducive to really lounging about...

i do love the jumbled up piles of books on the shelves above the reading chair by the door!

very nice! i have a couple small rooms too so i think that hinders taking more expansive pics.... I dont like all the furniture being pushed to the walls and the corners of the room- but is this something that people with kids have to do??

it's most likely a reproduction like others suggested. about 8 months ago i started seeing these as a desk version anywhere from $200-$500. it was beyond a steal that you got it for $15! congratulations!

really great, elegant, masculine and homey. lucky you, getting all those great pieces from granny. kudos to her good taste as well

loved it! i adore the coffee table, is it really ruhlmann? that is completely insane if it is.... the dining table def is a replica. i love the painted cabinets- very inspired!
