This looks amazing, well done! I would agree with the others that posted they would have preferred more upper cabinetry. Although if you don't feel you need them, then no need to do it. Before & After: Andrew's Long Time Coming Bungalow Kitchen Update |

It's a well themed house. What is done flows well but it's not really visually appealing as in it's not somewhere I would desire to live or spend more than 10 minutes there. Matt & Andy's More Perfect (Eclectic-Modern) Union House Tour |

@Pi - I understand what you are saying about venting out the front to prevent the rear from overheating. The front vented fridges are expensive and not worth it IMO. In my experience, the basement is usually cool and has not posed a problem. In the case that the area you want to use it tight and runs hot you can then build a duct from the back and feed it around with a custom fan (they're only a few bucks). Many contractors know how to do this and it would maybe cost $100-$200 for a well finished job. If it was me, I would spend $200 on the fridge, $200 on custom duct/fan shooting around the front and $200 for finishing around the fridge to make it look high end. Under $600 is definitely doable but after reading the article I understand what you are after and it is a good solution. Why an Undercounter Fridge May Set You Back $1K — And How to Get Around It |

I recently bought one of these fridges for $199 on a great sale (they go on sale all the time). Even the 4.4 cu feet stainless steel models are less than $300. Where do you guys find these fridges, are they diamond plated? Why an Undercounter Fridge May Set You Back $1K — And How to Get Around It |

Teal is too much everything. Too dark, too heavy, too filling, too contrasting. Some people have succeeded in making it look okay but teal is not the best option. Yes, you can make it look good but it is never the best. I've been a guest in a teal room a few times, always exiting as soon as possible. I'd rather be in an energetic space than an energy drowning teal room. I feel tired just looking at the pictures. Paint Color Portfolio: Teal Living Rooms |

You are bang on noticing the front is ugly. The interior requires a lot of work as well and I imagine you will do a good job. The exterior requires a refacing. No matter how much you repaint and recolour the front it will not look good. I would go with a modern exterior here - completely reface it with a solid darker gray colour and use big windows surrounded by a a bold dark frame to give it the appearance of an expensive home. New front door, slightly bigger than what is there and new garage door. If this is done properly it will look great, just don't skimp out on it. Exterior Ideas for Brady Bunch Dream House?
