On the day after my next [former] wedding anniversary (I knew I would need a day for a private pity party the day of), which was about three months after my divorce was final, I invited all friends who supported me over to my new apartment for a dinner to celebrate our friendship. I cooked a ton of food and gave every attendee flowers. Not so much a "divorce shower", and I certainly didn't receive any botox, but I felt like I owed those who stuck around their own shower of thanks.
