I love my five-mile bike ride to work so much that I pack my stuff the night before so I can roll out of bed and just go. It starts in my calm, quiet neighborhood and ends in the heart of the city so that by the time I get to the office I am energized and ready to work--and sip mint tea at my desk with breakfast. I will be moving a 45-minute commute away soon, but I am looking forward to a new ritual of prepping something warm for the road and then savoring my reading time on the bus ride.
