I've done something similar with thrift store art books. You can also use decorative paper found at art stores. Affordable Art: Pages From Books |

I've also made this recipe about 5 times now and love it! I've documented some of my tips regarding this recipe here: http://dritgirl.wordpress.com/2013/03/27/food-dutch-oven-jamie-oliver/ Jamie Oliver's Chicken in Milk Recipe The Ultimate Chicken? |

I think this room is mostly great. The space with your TV and the wall behind it appears a bit noisy. I've seen the TV on an easel thing before on design blogs and it never really made sense to me. TVs usually make a room feel less organic, and I find that the TV should recede into the background and not be the centerpiece of a room, so to put it on display on an easel in my opinion brings more attention to it.. But I can see how you can use the easel as a decorative piece in some other way. Laura's Wonderful Belongings Bedroom My Bedroom Retreat Contest |

The rail to the stairs would look better painted an off white or other pale color. Wall paper needs to go. And perhaps you can use a mirror or sheet metal or contact paper over cardboard to disguise the brick... overall it looks too busy right now as others have said. Good luck! The before pic looks better.. the rustic edges and dark color gave it character.. now it looks too new and very garage like. I would have opted for maybe an eggplant or taupe solid color and sanded down the edges to let some of the old dark color show through. Before & After: Michelle's Industrial Jewelry Chest |

I just made this tonight. It was good but I felt that it had too much zing (like either too much cinnamon or too much zest, or too salty although I didn't put more than a 1 teaspoon salt). But once I deglazed the pot with some chicken broth, white wine, and milk. It tasted amazing! Jamie Oliver's Chicken in Milk Recipe The Ultimate Chicken? |
