Dark walls and white trim make me cringe when not done right (which is almost all the time). You see it all the time in new construction in the suburbs. I moved on to a block of Tudor Revivals and they all have have the same brown trim with varying shades of off white for the body. We need to paint ours but I'm having a tough time just falling in line. I'd love to update the pallet without clashing with the rest of the neighborhood. Make sure they wrap up the "thin glassware from Eastern Europe" carefully and don't place it at the bottom of a bag with heavy platters on top.
