I'm pregnant and recently moved a bunch of my clothes to another cupboard. They don't fit right now (and for a while) so they stay with the out-of-season pieces until I can wear them again. This is not exactly organizing by size, but sizing can be quite different by brands, so my "system" is just "fits" and "doesn't fit".

I always liked to be in the kitchen with my mother - either helping her or just watch wahat she was doing.
Later, when I went to college, we had a pretty big kitchen in the apartment we rented. We held crepe parties with friends. We took turns making crepes, drank mulled wine (in winter the kitchen was quite cold) and had a great time.

We usually don't have salt on the table, but we do clear the table before dessert. Sometimes even when there's no dessert but we want to stay for some chatting.

I mix sour cream with a bit of lemon juice, mustard, olive oil and spices (pepper/basil/oregano/etc) to make a sauce for roasted pork and potatoes.

It's a great goal. It's so annoying when someone says "I don't like this" and turns out never even tried it.
There are some thing I tried several times and still don't like: liver, fish in soup,...
But there are things I thought I didn't like, then tried again and turned out that it wasn't so bad - like dry wines

I've killed a few plants before - even succulents. If you don't have to water something regularly, it's quite easy to forget about it.
Right now I have two plants - they seem to be sturdier, they are alive since we moved to this apartment (almost 3 years!)
One of them is a Zamiocoulcas, easy to care for, likes light, but not much water - I water it about once in a month, or even less.
I don't know the other one's name, but it "tells" me when it needs water. The leaves wilt, but it's healthy again a few hours after watering.

I agree with #9. My mom taught me lots of basic thing about cooking and I'm learning a lot all the time when I'm cooking. I rarely follow recipes to the word, but I still feel confident and don't stress to much about things like leave out/subtitute something in a recipe or change the cooking time if I need to. Also it's fun to cook like "I have these at home, what could I make of them"

I always spent Christmas with my family. Until last year - it was the first time I spent Christmas Eve with only my fiance. It was magical.

Last year was the first Christmas I spent only with my fiance (now husband). I wanted it to be special, so I planned to bake severaly types of cookies, big dinner, etc.
Life got in the way, because I had to work a lot in december - practically zero free time.
I was stressed because I couldn't do all the tihngs I planned, but then it occured to me, that I don't have to do all this. I don't need to. So in the end I made some gingerbread cookies, simple dinner, we drank some wine. And it was still special, not because the things we had, but because of us.

I use a plastic bag for decorating gingerbread for Christmas. You can make very fine, thin line with it. I learned this from my mom. She tried several types of pastry bags, but non of them was as good and easy-to-use as the simple plastic bag.

I simply put leftover bread (heel, etc) in a paper bag. It dries out in a few days. If the pieces are too big, I cut them smaller before they are too hard.
I use a grater to pulverize, because I don't have a blender. It takes a bit more time, but not so hard to do.
I store them in a jar.

I get myself to this task easier while I'm cooking. I would be in the kitchen anyway, watching the pot of soup, or check the oven from time to time. This way I get two tasks done at once.

Never seeded my tomatoes. I found out all by miyself that this part has the more flavor than the flesh. They don't bother me in sauces either.

Always liked the crust. It was strange for me that other kids didn't like it.

Soggy crust is the worst for me. I prefer thin crust, but I'm allright with thick too, as long as it's baked thoroughly.
As for toppings, I don't like sausage and salami on my pizza - they are too salty and spicy when baked. Other too salty toppings also ruin the pizza for me.

I use a knife usually. I bought a pizza cutting wheel recently, but haven't tried it yet.

These look great. Though I wouldn't use a chalkboard - I hate chalkdust. But I like the idea to have the weekly menu on display.
I use our fridge-door as a whiteboard for this. I bought a dry-erase pen and I write on the fridge what I intend to cook.
