I've watched the show every time it's come on and am amazed at how much coupons can actually save you! While I'm not interested in stockpiling against disaster, I am interested in how you can combine store deals and coupons and live on a small budget. I also have to tell everyone that said that you can't use coupons on "fresh" items...yes you can. You have to search for the coupons...I found a coupon for eggs, FRESH mushroom, non-frozen chicken breasts, salad, and several other fresh items. It can be done but you do have to take the time to get the Sunday paper and search some of the coupon sites! Weighing in on Extreme Couponing |

I've had to go out of my way to have a perfectly sized cardboard box in the living room so that Scarlett can sleep in it. I have also had to place a cup permanently on my nitestand for her to drink her water from. And of course, store bought toys are not enough, I must make them out of yarn for her. Spoiled spoiled. I prefer a full size ironing board...but if you want to go without one...the best thing to use instead of a towel on a table is a wool blanket on a flat surface. Wool doesn't allow the heat from the iron to harm your flat surface! Ironing Board Alternatives? Survey | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I'm not a Mom, so I don't know if my opinion counts or not. But last time I checked, babies grow up to be toddlers who grow up to be kids and so on. I would suggest mounting the tv on the wall, and painting your entertainment center a bright color. I feel like with the black tv on the black entertainment center on the dark wood floors, the room is just being weighed down. I vote for painting the walls grey & the trim a bright white. Keep the rug because it's great, and keep the couch the same color, but add some pops of color! Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Help! My Living Room Makes Me Nauseous! Good Questions |

I've decided that this year for Christmas, I'm only making gifts. With one exception (I plan to put pink rhinestones on tools for my Mom) but I will be making the tool bag that they go in! Etsy is even a great place to buy supplies for homemade gifts! I'm making the ladies in the family earrings, and Etsy is the only place I've been able to find cabachons, I'm so excited to start my handmade journey!
