I swear I've seen the bed/ couch thing mentioned on AT before but I can't remember! Does anyone know what it's called? Week 1: Color Families The Color Cure |

I don't have kids, and I think you should keep it. It is gorgeous!!! The buyer can choose to paint over it. When we bought our house I didn't care what color the walls (or any of the walls in the many other houses we saw) were. It certainly was not a deciding factor for us! Thanks everyone for your input! I'm glad to read that it is perfectly okay to leave it as it is, that it is not faded and weathered (hee hee, I always think bricks should look red, and since the house faces west, I assumed that over the years the afternoon sun has faded away the color). I would prefer door mounted roller or accordion shades over curtains. That's a beautiful door frame, I love the skinny side glass panel next to the door. And it looks like you have great light, so I'd want to keep the look clean and airy. How to Dress These Windows Near AC Units? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

If she works in advertising, she probably spends 12 hours at work on most days. Minus 8 hours of sleep that's just 4 hours left in the day, which is not that bad to spend surfing the net in a little piece of personal space that is *clean*, well lit, and looks to have been filled with personal touches. If you have pinecones as part of your home decor you can clean them using the abovementioned method- although I put one cone in each bag to avoid them cracking one another. Since I learned this method, I haven't been able to resist picking up perfect pinecones when I see them... in the Sierra mountains, Tahoe, even at the parking lot at the farmers' market! Gorgeous spaces but something in the living room seems a bit off, maybe it's the yellow paint that I'm personally not a fan of, or the drapes, or lack of coffee table? We pile our "not so dirty just worn once" clothes on the bench at the end of our bed. When I get ready in the mornings, Pjs are thrown back on the bed, under the comforters. Clean laundry gets folded on one of the couches in the living room but take days (even up to a whole week) to get put away. When my husband opens the (junk) mail they get strewn all over the entire dining table. My other dirty secret is I find that my husband's laziness has a tendency to rub off on me. I think it would really work nicely (and easily) on thin rag type rugs, in either solid colors or patterns that don't have a very obvious repeat. Even better is Freecycle, where you can find people offering moving boxes after their move, and you offer them to the next person who needs them when you're done. It is wayyyyyyyy overpriced indeed! I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it because I'd still have to shell out money for fabric and upholstering.
