If you read her blog, there are more pics showing the fun accents she used. I think she did a good job here! She also mentions she doesn't like the ugly carpet, guess there must be plans to replace it.

What a great idea! I always used to frame the prettiest cards, never thought about using them for matting. Your picture has certainly inspired me!

Really like the headboard, bench and dresser. But I think you should add some more colour, it doesn't feel as a finished room now. How about some yellow bedlinen? And I don't know what's under the fabric, but your side table screams granny. If you don't like the side table, you could probably get one for cheap (or do a fabulous DIY with the one you have now :) ) and it would look so much prettier! I agree that the yellow pillow would fit just perfectly in the room. And, I'm not so fond of pink myself, but I would suggest to add some pink accessoiries so the colour of your curtains is more integrated in the room. Oh well, those are just some things silly me would do :)

Too bad she didn't cover those ugly sides but just painted them. Other than that, nice work!

Have to say I'm not impressed. I actually thought that triangular trim was fun. Changing the handles and a slick paintjob to create a more simple/modern look would have made it a nice piece of furniture. But thats just my taste. As long as your happyvwith it, that's all that really matters!
