The first photo is so beautiful, the wall color is perfect and with that velvet couch... Ugh! Love it. We're thinking of doing a deep rich blue in our living room too, though it would just be one wall, but I think that might just be the kick in the butt we needed to get going! I absolutely love all of these, and while for sure they'd be good for a gentleman, us ladies out here covet this sort of stuff too! Seriously though, there's so amazing finds here. Now if only I had an iphone... The Finest in Gentlemen's Tech Haberdashery Apartment Therapy Gift Guide |

The cheese pencils cracked me up! Don't know how I would feel about actually using them, but the idea is hilarious. Some of the other stuff is so good though! The silo and the double dish especially. 5 Low Tech Items for Everyday Problems |

While the black one looks a little "icky" to me (sorry, that's the best word to describe it) I actually think the others look beautiful. I don't know if I personally would actually pay money for it, but I do think aesthetically it has value and it's a good option for those who want that look without the headaches that come with getting the real thing. I love the headphones on the skull too! Mostly though, I love this show. British tv does it again. Get This Look: BBC's Sherlock |

Seems like the Front Door Dump Zone is a major issue for lots of us. We have a beautiful wooden bench by the door with our shoes neatly organized underneath and even a lovely basket on top to collect small wintery accessories, but the theory doesn't stand up to reality and the entire bench is constantly hidden with bags and coats and scarves and sweaters and folders and the shoes are constantly spreading of their own free will. Someone please come up with a great solution! What's Your Bad Habit at Home? |
