The swing is very therapeutic ..I'm getting a swing chair for my grandson's room. All areas are open and free..no clutter. May we have a tour as one said...9-12 months from now?

This is my style....why not have fun I have taken lg. size skirts.pull up to arm pits..belted and went on my way. Now ,I have a short sun dress.

Also.cover wing back chair in DRI eraser material, removable cushion..fuzzy seat, glue clear shoe bag to 1/2 back side this will be to store all kind of things...top for drawing. On sides ..clear sleeves to put child's drawings..goose neck lamp up the back and positionable for the reader.the chair may be a child's very own haven for reading,art,ECT.
Sure y'all can come up with ideas too.

I agree..chieromancer...this color will "disappear" when enough of the clients color is used. I could see bold color, sea side decor,build off of a striking shower curtail, use a little of this same color as an accent color to blend it all together.

Have you thought to paint the chairs? They look great to me ..the table legs have great design think out side the box add color.

Congrads you are the winner in my book too. the color choices and tips are well received by me. Also. You took upcycling to a new level with the sofa. I'd do the same...don't think I"ll find anything around my neck of the woods that old. My eyes grabbed the wood storage,which I will put into place. I'll be looking for the home tour. They do ask folks if they would be willing for a tour ....to contact them.

sherryBinNH..thank you for the comments.since. I trust your knowledge and compassion ,since I am a BOOK LOVER. It is hard for me to justify upcycling a book. I am still pushing for readers not to dog ear pages,so I make bookmarkers out of recycled materials.leave them everywhere.

We need to be very selective in whom we give these up cycled books to.Personally,I think we are In a serious stage of discarding reading material of many sources. Let's don't through out the baby with the wash water. When I give my 7 year grandson a book, I want him to know it is to READ.
Let's pack them up to leave at laundry mats, grocery store,hospitals,doctors office,
School cafeterias,the beach,church, homeless shelters or low income housing units. They will be read by folks at all these places.

You have given me a little wiggle room to "maybe" follow up on some of the crafty ideas posted here and other sites...... before we know it there will be a book on how to recycle books.:) :)

You have my vote for colors giving a very friendly and cheerful atmospher.
Now, you have to do something for me..finish the area where the wall and floor meet on each side of the front door. It appears to be unfinished....otherwise ,retake the picture for a 3/4 view of the beautiful yellow door.
Paint or cover the elect plates so they will get lost in the wood.
Did you repurpose the cabinet to hold the TV components? Very nicely done too.
