I diy'd a ceiling pendant very similar for a couple of ceiling lights in my apartment with gold heat safe spray paint ($6) on the inside of a Melodi pendant from Ikea ($9-$19). I went a step further and covered the outside of the pendant with black leather, but for your project, the Melodi is already white! Affordable Alternative White Pendant with Gold Interior? I would add hooks to hang aprons and oven mitts. You could even add a small shelf at the top to store recipe boxes. Ideas for Unusually Shaped Kitchen Cupboard? Good Questions |
