You know, my grandmother's been wanting an outdoor kitchen for a while now. Nothing fancy, a sink and a place to put a table top stove on that she can remove in bad weather.

So I'm searching for DIY summer kitchens and voila, your LACK-hack is JUST what I needed. I'd go for the one twice the size of the small one, maybe put two next to eachother and 1.2.3 -we have a summer kitchen for an extremely small amount of money.

THANK YOU for sharing this!! =)

@ scarrico:

I don't mean to be a miss know-it-all but being born in Hungary (residing in Sweden for the past 29 years) and being fluent in hungarian I must correct you.

It's spelled Paprikás (the s is pronounced shh unless you write it with a z as in sz and would be pronounced like a simple s). The š you're using doesn't exist in the hungarian alphabet, I think it's more used by the Czechs.

Your recipe however sounds delicious! =)

Strike that, it's not wooden, it's metal.. but still, adorable!

That is really pretty!

What caught my eye though is the wooden-egg-carrier-thingy, what is that called and where can I get one? It's adorable! =)

Oh.. seeing this post got me wanting to see the "after" pics. Scrolling down and reading the comments, i realize this IS the after pics.

After seeing the actual "before" shots I have to say that it was never really that wonderful to begin with but the before colours were so much softer and more 50's than afterwards.

They should've stuck to one or two colours, it just looks like an explosion in the paint factory now. Too bad.

I love the water faucet knobs, they actually remind me of this ceramic accessory to keep flowers in place once you've put them in their vase. You can check them out here (sorry it's all in Swedish though, but just to see what I mean) http://www.signerat.se/website1/1.0.1.0/12/1/?item=prod_prod-s1/705&group=prod_prod_grp-s1/14

I wonder if those faucets could be used for that as well, I guess it all depends on if they rust or not. Very pretty though! =)
