WOW! This is tricky! In all honesty, I think converting back to a 2 bedroom is the way to go. With that being said, here are my suggestions on how to make it work:

1. Do you currently have a sofa? If so, then think about selling it and purchasing a loveseat with the proceeds.

2. How big is your dining set? Right now, you just need a small table and 2 chairs, so, if it's any bigger, I would definitely downsize.

3. Babies need a LOT less than what we think they do, so, when you make the second bedroom, it doesn't need to be big at all. I've seen tours on AT that even have a nursery tucked into a closet space and it's absolutely lovely and cozy. Really think about what a baby truly needs: crib, small dresser (with a changing station on top) and a diaper genie (or small trash can). From there, you can add a nice rug and even paint. Keep toys to a minimum as well.

Since you live in just 640 square feet, you have probably already de-cluttered as much as possible, but it's worth taking another look at what you truly use and love and removing anything else from your home. Incorporate the outbox method into your daily living and place items there that you do not truly use or love.

However, even if they aren't Conant Ball, you seem to really like them and that is all that matters in the end. If you are very fond of them and they make you happy, then they will be a great addition to your home.

This is a beautiful space; everything is done very nicely and the lack of clutter is incredible. It's homes like this that encourage me to keep de-cluttering and remove unnecessary furniture. I absolutely love it.

I agree with everyone: Do NOT move the toddler back into your room! We currently have our 2 year old and 1 year old sharing a room and what we did was situate their beds so that the 1 year old cannot see the 2 year old. This was easy to do because their bed/crib are arranged in an "L" shape. The 1 year old's crib has a solid covering at the head and foot of her crib, so, she is unable to see the 2 year old. This has really worked for us. We found that when they could see each other, it was a disaster and both girls stayed up "talking" with each other. Things have been so much better once we switched their bed/crib around.

This is so chic and inspiring! I also love to see how people live in small spaces as it gives me great ideas for our small apartment in Spain. Fabulous job and I really love all of the vivid colors; this is such a happy and warm home. Great job!

An absolutely beautiful home! I love the colors; it projects a feeling of calmness, yet it's not at all dull. I also love how the color flow through the entire home, that is something that I am working on myself and just seeing these pictures greatly inspired me. Just love it all. Very well done!

Your newly Cured home looks fantastic! I have to admit that I am jealous that you spent your celebration with your sister; I would love to do that, but, unfortunately, I live in Spain and my sister lives in Ohio. It was so nice to read about the great time you had with your sister. Congratulations on being Cured during the month of January!

Very busy weekend as we are leaving for Paris on Monday, BUT, I have managed to accomplish the deep clean of our living room. Even though it is pretty small, it took a good 3 hours to clean everything, but it just feels SO much better.

As we are leaving on Monday, I have not purchased flowers this week, but will pick some up as soon as we return. I have also cleaned the bathrooms and the floors; I despise coming home to a dirty house after a trip.

As several other posters commented, I have also noticed that doing the Cure has made me want to clean and organize more. I find myself taking those extra few mintues to ensure that a room is perfectly clean before I leave and it has really worked. This has been a fantastic project and I am already looking forward to the next one.

I have a real issue with our lighting and I do not know where to begin to fix it. The main issues are that we rent and we rent in Spain. With that being said, I do not want to spend a lot of money on lighting, with 220 voltage, and then have to leave them when we move. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a couple of small table lamps (IKEA, 7 Euro) on our bedroom nightstands and I like them a lot; however, they do not produce enough light to be placed in our living space. We only have an ottoman and a credenza in the living area, and we do not have a lot of floor space to use a floor lamp. If anyone has suggestions or ideas I would greatly appreciate hearing them! Thank you all so very much. In the past, I have found that a lot of the fellow AT readers have wonderful ideas that I have used and been very happy with, so I am hoping my streak continues!
