Shame they converted it into a lamp :( I'm no expert on Japanese mythology, but I know a bit to make an educated guess.

The sea dragon is most likely Ryūjin. It's said that he controls the tides with magical tide jewels. He had a daughter named Otohime, who could possibly be the one depicted riding him. The two men I can't identify. Though, perhaps it's Otohime's husband, Hoori and his brother?

The woman may be Empress Jingū and the men being her husband and son. The Empress is said to had help from the tide jewels conquer Korea with a flood. Her son was born following her return to Japan.
