So many times I see beige or grey kids rooms and think they were done more for the parents' enjoyment than the child's, but this one is lovely. I hope in a few years you will ask your child what color walls they would like and take their color preferences into account. And not in the way of, "Mommy likes this, what do you think?"

I agree with those who are scratching their heads at the idea that this kitchen is not modern. My kitchen was all white formica before we gutted it. Your kitchen looks modern, especially with the chevron backsplash. If you want to change it up, paint the cabinets. Gray is the color of the moment. BM Fieldstone could be a good choice unless it conflicts with your backsplash color.
